These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.heatwavetransfers.ca and any purchase made through it. By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Refund & Returns Policy.

1. About Us

Heatwave Transfers is a Canadian direct-to-film (DTF) heat transfer printing service. We are headquartered in Alberta, Canada. Contact: info@heatwavetransfers.ca  •  (587) 590-9406

2. Products & Custom Orders

All transfers, gang sheets, t-shirts, and hoodies are custom-produced to your specifications after payment is received. Because each item is made to order:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun (typically within 1 business day of payment).
  • Refunds and reprints are handled as described in our Refund Policy.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed and charged in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice, but your order is locked at the price displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely via WooPayments (Stripe) and PayPal. We do not store credit card details.

4. Artwork & Intellectual Property

By uploading artwork, you confirm that:

  • You own or have the legal right to use and reproduce the artwork commercially.
  • The artwork does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
  • You indemnify Heatwave Transfers against any claim arising from the artwork you supply.

We reserve the right to refuse any order containing artwork that we reasonably believe to be infringing, offensive, or unlawful, without refund liability.

5. Production & Turnaround

Standard turnaround is 2–4 business days from receipt of acceptable artwork and cleared payment. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates unless an expedited service is explicitly offered and purchased at checkout.

6. Shipping

We ship Canada-wide via Canada Post and Purolator. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Risk of loss passes to the carrier upon handover. We will assist with claims for packages confirmed lost by the carrier; see our Refund Policy for details.

7. Colour Accuracy

DTF printing produces vibrant full-colour results. However, printed colours may vary from what you see on screen due to monitor calibration, colour profiles, and the substrate colour. Variation of ≤15% from the submitted file is considered acceptable and is not grounds for a reprint or refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Heatwave Transfers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your order, including lost profits or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta, Canada.

10. Privacy

We collect your name, email, shipping address, and uploaded artwork solely to fulfil your order. We do not sell your personal information. Payment data is processed by Stripe and PayPal under their respective privacy policies.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The current version is always published at this URL. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
